The Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA) is an association functioning both as a self-regulatory organization and as an interlocutor between market participants and various stakeholders including the government authorities.
Both functions work independently. JSDA members consist of securities firms and other financial institutions operating securities business in Japan.
