Chairman's Message
The Increasingly Important Role and Responsibilities of the Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA)
The Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA) is the only Financial Instruments Firms Association authorized by the Prime Minister under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act. It was established with the aim of ensuring the fair and smooth operation of financial and capital markets, promoting the sound development of the securities industry, and protecting investors.
Financial and capital markets play a vital role in Japan’s economy by efficiently allocating funds through market mechanisms. They serve as a platform for investors to manage their assets and for companies—including emerging industries that will lead the next generation—to raise capital.
To this end, the JSDA is committed to contributing to the further development of Japan’s economy by promoting stable asset formation for the public and realizing a vibrant financial and capital market.
