  Regarding the issuance, redemption and oustanding amounts of "General Bonds (non-JGB)", the table originally created by the JSDA was based on the data voluntarily provided by representative underwriting companies or trustee companies; however, since April 2019, the data in the tables have been derived from the monthly statistical data of the Japan Securities Depository Center, Inc. (JASDEC). The data source of JGBs remains unchanged.
  Moreover, following this change, because the units of the data have been changed from JPY 1000 to JPY 1 million, and because there are portions where the JSDA data and the JASDEC data differ, the data of "Issuing, Redemption and Outstanding Amounts of Bonds" from April 2019 onwards will be published as a separate file.
