The JSDA and ICMA co-hosted the 11th Japan Securities Summit in London to promote Japan and its capital market to institutional investors and other market professionals based in the UK, and to enhance relations between the UK and Japanese securities industries. This year's event came at a crucial moment in which the UK, Japan, and global markets faced multiple uncertainties. Discussions included such topics as Brexit's impacts on London, the prospects of London and Tokyo's relationship going forward, as well as Japan's efforts to contribute to sustainability.
