The JSDA co-hosted on the online event, Funding Asia's Transition to a Green Economy: Facilitating sustainable transformation through targeted investment, alongside FT Live.

Asia is home to some of the world’s largest carbon emitters and is also one of the most vulnerable regions to the impacts of climate change. However, Asia’s leading technology sector and an infrastructure network which is not yet fully developed offers unique opportunities for issuers and investors to make a real environmental impact while optimising the use of their funding and investment tools. Transition finance is a key tool in the battle to decarbonise the world, and it is important that existing polluters are incentivised and aided to transform their practices.

The webinar discussed the current state of transition financing and other initiatives to address sustainability in Asia.
