In May 2016, JSDA set up the Survey Group for the Research on the Securities Industry and FinTech with JSRI (Japan Securities Research Institute) to study the current status of FinTech and to attempt a fundamental evaluation of the implications of FinTech for the securities industry.

On January 26, 2017, the Survey Group published the report, which includes the results of the series of discussion.

JSDA will continue to work on the study of FinTech with JSRI.
